At 1:30 in the morning, we arrived in Athens, Greece. My dad and I shared a tiny blanket and laid on the floor of the airport for a short rest and then woke up and saw the sunrise in Greece which was so pretty. We spent the day around all of the ancient ruins of Athens including the very first Olympic stadium, the Acropolis, and the Parthenon. Around those sights, there was an old path that led to a huge pile of ancient rocks where we climbed up and saw the entire city of Athens from above! We found a little shop that sold authentic Greek yogurt, so we had to stop and get some and it was so tasty. Then, we had a lot of time left in the day, so I suggested that we go to the beach. We found a random beach on the coast of Greece and spent a few hours swimming in the Mediterranean Sea and getting a good tan on the beach. We lost track of time because it felt so good to relax and soak up the sun.
