HALLO!! I finally made it to my original mission and I am serving in the BEST place in the world. (also my pday is tuesday now btw:))
Here are some things I love about Neumarkt am Wallersee:))
》we live in a dwarf town which basically means the country side in the mountains with lots of empty fields and the most beautiful views
》we live 20 minutes from Salzburg which is also one of the most prettiest places ever
》the sound of music mountain is in our area as well as the town that resembles “arendale” in frozen
》this is a very musical place and Mozarts house is hereee (hehe I’m a nerd)
》my comp is amazing and I absolutely love her!! We are both very organized and stubborn for missionary work and I can tell we’ll move mountains together;)
》we have a very active and involved ward and they are all so nice and feed us often!! Send prayers that I’ll survive all the schnitzel and bratwurst as they come hahaha
Funny things:
》it’s absolutely hilarious talking to Austrian kids because they are fluent in german and they dont understand that I didn’t grow up learning it so they flex on me so hard lol
》yesterday I was washing my laundry but I accidentally clicked on the wrong setting and washed everything for 2 and a half hours at 90° celcius….really not good haha
CHALLENGE: (please do this it’ll change your life)
》our church has the most amazing program called the 12 step addiction recovery program and it is honestly just a written out repentance process that works for anyone seeking improvement and change in life. You can find it on gospel library and there are videos of people who have done it and they are so inspiring!! Regardless of what we have done, there is always room for us to become more Christlike and that is possible through honest repentance. Please check it out!!
