I hit my year mark!! so crazy. we celebrated by going to my fav bakery in eugendorf:)

》RENATE

we visited our cute friend Renate and had a really powerful lesson and she started tearing up and left the room and came back with the CUTEST little homemade Jesus doll thing as a going away gift for me:) we also gave her brownies and a Christmas card and then she had a spontaneous professional photo shoot w/us cuz she’s a photographer hahah good times

》BROWNIE BESUCHS

on thursday we visited a bunch of people and brought them brownies and Christmas notes and every. single. person. was a huge miracle. but I’ll just share my fav one.

a few weeks ago, I wrote about the sommeregger family (mom left the church @ age 13 and the whole fam is nonmembers). there is SO much potential there and we all feel so good about it so of course we brought them a Christmas gift and they were excited to see us and invited us to come over the next day!! sooo we went back the next day and they gave us SO many Christmas treats and we shared a message with them and then the mom started speaking super broken English with us (so her kids wouldn’t understand what she was saying lol), and told us that she doesn’t agree with most of the catholic church, but she brings her family anyways because she wants her kids to have a Christian belief foundation. we explained more about the church and she honestly doesn’t remember anything lol. then she asked US if there was anything she could study in the BofM to prepare for our next visit and we were like “uuuh YES!!” so crazy. I am SO excited to see this family continue to progress.

》MUSIK DAY

on sunday, I got last minute drafted in to play the piano for all the songs for our ward Christmas eve concert lol. I hate sight reading but I’m getting used to it cuz this happens a lot haha. then we went to one of my fav older couples in the ward and I got to play the piano with the husband while he played his guitar and his sweet wife that has dementia sang along with my comps. so sweet.

》ANTONIETTA

with our friend antonietta, we usually give her something to study in the BofM and she gives us something from the Bible and then we get together and discuss it and this week we studied the stories of Nephi & then the story of Joseph from the Bible. she had SO many cool thoughts about the connections between the 2 (such as them both having rude brothers and also that Nephi is a direct decedent of Joseph), and I can just feel how much her testimony of the BofM is growing which is so amazing.

》OTHER RANDO THINGS

-we had another lesson with our friend Linde and I said goodbye to her cuz it was my last time with her 🙁

-our friend Horst came to church and got a healing priesthood blessing after church which was so cool!

-we asked some members for anyone we could serve and they gave us the name of a lady from Bangladesh that lives near them that has 2 young boys and her husband just left her 🙁 so we went and visited her and brought her a Christmas gift and invited her to church and SHE CAME with her boys!! it made me so happy.

》SPIRITUAL THOUGHT
