》we went on a cool boat ride for pday last week and even though it was flipping cold, the views were gorgeous & it was a good time
》I swear we went all over Switzerland this week haha…we are always on a train going somewhere. We also went to Stuttgart (in Germany) for a day to get the booster shots, but it was pretty much just a massive mission gathering party so that was fun
》we had interviews and I talked to President Naatjes for over an hour about so many cool scriptures and it was wonderful
》here’s a fun story for ya since this email is really dry and boring;))
There’s a cool guy named Peter who is a bus driver here in Burgdorf. About a year ago, the missionaries talked to him and became good friends with him, but nothing came from it. Long story short, he saw us on his bus the other day and invited us to come over for waffles with his fam for dinner!! So naturally we went and we ended up talking for almost 2 hours about what they believe and what we believe, and I guess he’s a pastor in his church haha!! So we are joining their church service this Wednesday and I’m pumped to see how it goes:)) killer waffles too by the way.
》just a quick spiritual thought since I know you’re dying to hear one. All I wanna say is that I’ve noticed the Spirit speaks to us in 2nd person and Satan speaks to us in 1st person. (you got this/you are loved vs I suck/I can’t do this, ya know?) Anyways, it’s clear that Satan wants us to be selfish and the Spirit wants to help us love and serve others, even when we don’t always love ourselves. It’s seriously so important to listen to the Spirit!!
