After our fun biking adventure in Denmark, we took another flight to Berlin, Germany. There, our exchange student from last year, Johanna, and her family picked us up from the airport and took us around to all of the cool places in Berlin such as the Berlin Wall, the Parliament Building, the most beautiful and massive German castle, and we ate at an authentic German restaurant. One of the best feelings in the world was seeing Jo and feeling as close as sisters again. We spent the night with her family in a super fancy and old fashioned hotel that they reserved for us! In Germany, the freeways don’t have a speed limit, so we were driving at 220 kph! We then spent the next couple of days with Johanna’s family at their home in Hamburg. They took us for a bike tour across their city and there were so many rivers and everything was so green and beautiful. I loved Germany almost as much as I love Jo!
