After driving through the night, we made it to Switzerland. I think Switzerland is hands down the most beautiful place I have ever been. We saw Mount Blanc and the mountain range literally surrounds you and all you can see is mountains. I could not stop looking out the window and just appreciating it as much as I possibly could. It almost just felt like a breath of fresh air being in Switzerland. My dad lives for the mountains so I loved seeing him happier than ever. We eventually made our way to Zermatt, which is a super cool little city that you have to take a train to because it is in the mountains and there are no cars allowed there. Love. We saw the Matterhorn and even did a small hike on it. When we finished, we found another abandoned bike, and as you can imagine, my dad insisted on fixing it up and going for a ride. On our way to our hostel, we stopped at the river of straight glacier water that runs through Zermatt and I just scooped the water into my hands and drank as much as I could. It was the most fresh, cold, and amazing water I have ever tasted. I would do anything to have another drink of that. We then went to a little grocery store and got some Swiss cheese because how could we go to Switzerland and not have any. We even drove past the lake where they claim the Loch Ness monster lives! Switzerland was so cool.
