heyo!! I know I said last week was the best, but this week was prolly one of my favorites on my whole mission. let me tell you why;)
》we set a goal to find a new person to teach on Facebook, on the streets, and a member referral and we somehow accomplished it and even more!! which is absolutely crazy for this area. God is good.
》one of the peeps we found on Facebook said she wanted to meet at a cafe and talk and so we did and she just adored us for what we are doing and bought us a 50€ dinner and said she wants to come to church and see us more! she is seriously the cutest and I love her already.
》the past few days, my companion and I went on a mega exchange with the sisters in innsbruck, so we got to do a fun 3 hour road trip and it was the PRETTIEST drive ever. we were right next to the mountains and the river the whole time. thank you Austria for existing lol.
》while we were there, we got to meet their friend they are teaching from afganistan and he told us he wanted to take us all strawberry picking on bikes at a nearby field in the mountains. so we went expecting like a 20 minute bike ride…..then we ended up biking just short of 30 MILES hahaha
it was crazy. all of our bikes were borrowed from a member too and none of them functioned like a normal bike hahha. (mega throwback to going on bike rides with my dad when “almost there” means another 3 hours;)
love you dad♡) BUT the strawberries were SO good and it was such a pretty view, so it was worth it.
》I have 2 spiritual thoughts to share that changed my life this week.
the first is a phrase from a song that randomly popped in my head the other day lol. the words are, “where you invest your love, you invest your life.” It is SO good to asses where you are investing your love because when you love something worthwhile, it always deserves your full attention.
the second is about patriarchal blessings. I’ve been thinking lately about how I always look to my blessing for guidance or an answer to a decision I’m trying to make. but I tried going into reading my blessing with already having prayed and made a decision and then read it, and I decided that if I feel good about a decision after reading my blessing and it seems to click with it, then it’s a good idea and if not, I can take a step back and think again. dont know if that makes sense but that changed my perspective on life haha.
CHALLENGE: we have recently established a new idea that every member of the church should try every week; bring a friend to church day. (it’s like bring your kid to work day but way better lol)
if you havent done that lately (or even if you have), you have 4 days to find a friend to bring with you to church;) #nofear #losgehts
KEEP ON KEEPIN ON!! ich hab euch lieb <3
