crusty nut cake.

what’s good everyone?! here’s the tea from Switzerland this week…

》TEMPLE

we went to the temple again!! It was amazing as always and we went to a boojee Italian restaurant afterwards which made it even better

》STALE FOOD

we visited one of my favorite old ladies (98 years old) in the ward this week and sat with her for 2 HOURS looking through all of her scrapbooks, talking about her conversion story, and then she fed us a sketchy looking nut cake thing that expired a long time ago and some orange juice that was like 50 shades of orange going on (also very expired) but she is so sweet and it was a fun time.

》LESS ACTIVE DAY

one of the councelors in the mission presidency offered to take us around in his car for a day to visit less active members in the Burgdorf ward!! We tried a bunch of people and every. single. one. had moved away or died…some even over 15 years ago. MINISTERING IS SO IMPORTANT EVERYONE. It’s so sad when people get forgotten 🙁

》THE GOSPEL = 🙂

we had an Ausstellung in Langenthal this week (pretty much just a street display and street finding with a bunch of missionaries) & honestly street finding is one of my least fav things to do haha, but for some reason I was extra excited to share the gospel that day. Even though nobody I talked to was interested, I had some really good conversations with people and it totally brightened my day and theirs!! I love learning over and over again that the message of the gospel is so simple and happy and you don’t have to be a member of the church to be blessed by the light of the gospel. #jesusisforeveryone
